Lunet Flagship Store is the second space opened by the eponymous eye ware brand, a continuation of their aesthetic ethos and unconventional approach towards the entire experience of buying eyeglasses. The idea was to borrow a few of the key elements from the first store in such a manner, that it feels like you have stepped into the Lunet universe, but at the same time creating a unique and specially designed space, adapted to the new context.

Homme is not just a store, but a unique experience of an urban environment within the context of highly commercial space. Homme is a break from the usual shopping mall experience with a number of distinct aesthetic signs … The height gives the feeling of space and at the same time exposes the structure and ventilation of the space lighting systems.

The design for the Haight store at Shopping Leblon had the premise to create a welcoming environment and a consumption experience that brings something improbable in its essence. The mall’s ambiance, defined by its artificial elements and cold materiality is the opposite language of Haight’s conceptual basis – which is linked to natural landscapes.

We Labotory settled a tagline “Tear down the time – break down time” for Musinsa Standard, as it interprets the spatial concept of  timeless through past, present, and future in our own design language. Musinsa Standard Hongdae consists of 4 floors. The first basement floor to the second floor and the 1.5th floor in between. The  circulation that starts on the first floor and leads to the present (first floor), and the future (1.5 floor), the present (second floor), and the  first basement (past) is expressed as a narrative of the time.

Heytea Zao Flagship Store (Nantou) / CCD

December 3, 2021 Xiaohang Hou 0

Nantou Ancient Town is located in the central area of Shenzhen, with a history of more than 1,700 years. It is the cultural birthplace of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. Through renovation, this urban historical and cultural neighborhood has been activated and renewed. CCD conceived a Heytea store sited in Nantou. Through integrating the site’s millennia-old cultural heritage and the city’s modernization over the past three decades, the CCD team created an example that represents the rebirth of Nantou. Based on modern approaches, CCD introduced classical architectural elements to inject timeless charm into the architecture and interior space. The most beautiful “sphere” strengthens the aesthetics of the space, which breaks conventional store design and creates an “undefined” inspiring space.
