Signed by III Interior Design, Boticário LAB exhibits a concept store that evokes the history of the brand and exhibits the new, with sustainability and technology. Located in a region with a large flow of people in the heart of the Pinheiros neighborhood, the new Boticário Flagship spatializes the concept of a contemporary artisanal laboratory. The project focuses on a preexisting building and retrofits it, rethinking the facade and internal environments to encompass an immersive experience in the brand and enable the hyper mix of uses, uniting a cafe, beauty salon, event/exhibition space, and a laboratory. perfumer, under the same architectural language. New environments with technological innovations often fall short in their experience. Like the technology itself, the spatial design needs to present an equally or more immersive and original experience. In an attempt to balance these two, [email protected]’s experiment with Uncommon Store successfully captures the essence of technological innovations and their integration with space.
The project follows the design principles of a previous project “Sinerxia I”, carried out by the studio. Larger commercial premises are essential in order to improve the offered capacity. The centre accommodates physiotherapy cabins, rooms for functional rehabilitation, and a training sports area, where the most personalized treatment is offered.
Shenzhen Nanyou Area is located in the middle of the Nanshan Peninsula, named after the Nanyou Development Zone, a flourishing factory/residential district in the early days of Reform and Opening-up. Today, Nanyou gathers related industries such as e-commerce, foreign trade, and logistics, and in the wave of consumption upgrade, independent designers and emerging brands have also begun to appear. Lab O.C.O is among this new wave.
Situated on Via del Corso, one of the most vibrant streets in Italy’s capital, Apple Via Del Corso brings the historic Palazzo Marignoli back to life. Inspired by its colorful past, the design reveals the building’s fascinating and multi-layered history by unveiling painted ceilings and frescoes from the 1890s juxtaposed with modern graffiti artworks from the 1950s. Celebrating the murals, hidden from view for decades, the new design creates a space where the city and history truly meet.
